Moderator Position Available

Hello Left 4 Dead forum regulars!

The Neoseeker site admin have deemed this forum is in need of a moderator. If you think you would be a good fit to fill in as caretaker of L4D please send me a PM.^^ Your application should be a short description of why you think you would be a good moderator for this forum.

There are certain qualities we look for when seeking moderators, mainly:

• You must be kind and helpful whenever possible
• You do not need to be the #1 expert but you do need to possess some knowledge about the game.
• We like people who are active in this forum. We also like people who have lives outside of Neoseeker. Everything in moderation as they say.
• We need our moderators to be level headed. They need to know when to demonstrate tolerance and when to put their foot down.
• We want someone who tries to add new ideas and keep things refreshing without personalizing the forum to their individual tastes (ie - everyone likes orange but I like green, so we're coloring it green)
• Creativity and humor are big assets Fun > Bureaucracy

Some small things to keep in mind

• Both current moderators and members must apply
• Anyone can apply but preference will be given to members who have been registered and active on Neoseeker for at least 30 days or more.
• Seniority or current status will not be taken into account
• Recommendations (other than yourself ) can be posted in here but remember this is not a vote.

Remember, we want someone who can inspire and be active!

I'd recommend both Twin_Master and Lorx. Both have been pretty active in the forum since that start of it and have decent knowledge of the game. Both are helpful and are pretty level headed in my opinion.

Just curious, why the deviation from the regular policy? Haven't seen an application thread/page/etc since the application system was scrapped.

Section 9, in the meantime, I will place this forum on my favorites and keep a closer eye on it. Twin_master just informed me that this place is busy and needs a mod, so I will watch over the place until you guys appoint a forum mod.

I'd like to go ahead and recommend Twin_Master. I've seen him help out and participate in this forum quite a bit, I think he'd be very suitable. Cheers.

Lmao, I thought that as well when I saw the thread title.

Honestly, I could see (and recommend) Twin_Master, Lorx, krunk13, and Original. I could see either of those four making a nice fit for forum mod. good luck to anyone that applies. I'm a bit anxious to see who gets the spot.
