Subpage, new page, what to do?

Hi all.

CRS are currently in the middle of setting up an updated contributions guide on the NeoWiki, but I'm not sure how to approach this exactly.

The discussion ended up agreeing that splitting the guides for games, movies and books into separate pages would be ideal because just seeing these individually looked somewhat scary. Just need to look at Dark Arcanine's userpage but imagine it three times as long.

But I don't know if we should be going with sub pages or standalone new pages and have them manually linked into one another. The reason I'm unsure is that it seems in most cases people opt for new standalone pages for related content. For example, in A Link to the Past, instead of doing http://zelda.neoseeker.com/wiki/The_Legend_of_Zelda:_A_Link_to_the_Past/Bosses the wiki instead does http://zelda.neoseeker.com/wiki/Bosses_of_The_Legend_of_Zelda:_A_Link_to_the_Past.

Is there a reason sub pages seem to be avoided and how does the concept relate to the contributions guide document?

So you think flat out new pages is more ideal in this case Dragoon?

Although I can't name them like Games of Contributions Guide because that sounds silly. Though maybe Contributions Guide - Games or something if subpages are to be avoided in this instance.

I'll set up an all in one guide on my user page later and see how it looks before I carry on with establishing it officially.

If it doesn't look like it'll work then since you seemed somewhat against sub pages I'll go with full new pages (and will take your advice on the naming of them).
