Modifying text on the page by using a template?

Title says all.

So here's what I want to do:

code
{{Auto}}

Copper and Silver are worth less than Gold.


And then the Auto converts it to

code
{{Auto}}

[[Copper]] and [[Silver]] are worth less than [[Gold]].


Is it possible without putting those in an Auto parameter? Thanks!

Simply put there is no way to do that, and I don't think anyone's going to bother to think of a way to do it. If it's not been done on normal Wiki's I doubt anyone can think of any way to do it on NeoWiki's.

Besides, even if there was, that's just being pure lazy. I'm surprised you'd consider using this to be honest, overKill.

Link tags aren't there to be automated. This would basically reduce the Wanted Pages sect to ash and would promote MORE laziness. Aside from that, you'd get the problem of multiple links. I'll show you what I mean;

Django and Otenko travel to San Miguel to continue Django's quest. On the way Django meets a mysterious vampire, and Otenko appears to recognise him. The vampire then slashes at Django, much to Otenko's dismay, and takes Django's solar gun (Gun del Sol); to further the shock, the vampire then fires the gun at Django, which would normally be impossible for any normal vampire to do.

It's technically possible if you pass the text into a Template via a parameter, and then there are several ways to manage that, but the specific depend on exactly what you're trying to do. The bottom line is that it would take me a while to code anything of that sort efficiently.
