Not you guys specifically. It's just something I've noticed people have been generally doing for a while.

And how I address that nuisance: Either make one heavy edit to a page instead of multiple small edits (utilitizing Preview makes it easier to prevent mistakes), and/or use your browser's autocomplete function.

EDIT: Although yeah, I admit that I start noticing after you guys seemed to have done something to every page on pokemon.neowiki. I can't tell what though since you guys didn't leave edit summaries.

When you go on recent changes, just to the left of every page edited is a link called 'diff' which shows the change made.

I find it a little annoying when I see someone has done an edit and I look at the Page History to see that they haven't left an edit summary. However it doesn't bother me that much since I just look at the Revision of the page to see what they have done. Other than that, I never really look at edit summaries.

Even if you're in a hurry or just don't feel like doing it, please leave an edit summary every time you edit a page, even if it's just fixing some typos. This lets others see at a glance what was done and when, and saves wiki admins a ton of time when looking into plagiarism or other incidents. One tip for everyone, and applies very much so to all (and prospective) Wiki Staff:

• Go to Special:Preferences
• Click the editting tab
• Tick "Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary" at the bottom of the page

If you're not already doing this, this will make sure your Wiki's entire team of Staff can look through Recent Changes or every page's History and know what is happening without having to compare every single edit.
