I would personally prefer to see images categorized in their own sub-category of their main.


For instance:


A picture such as Sephiroth_Bad_Ass.jpg would be categorized under something like [[Category:Final Fantasy VII Images]], which would be a sub-category of [[Category:Final Fantasy VII]].


Sound good?

Just a note: You can use __NOGALLERY__ to make the images be listed as like text links instead of in gallery format.

Would the same apply for WikiGuides? It's just someone has asked if you can create a sub-catagory of a certain page.

Quick question.. Please use this site as an example..
On the left, you'll notice a box tited 'Sections', with links to all the games in the series. When you click on any link within a Section, the URL reads (for example clicking on Quests in the Oblivion section)

Since the wiki contains multiple games, each with it's own set of quests, each quest page comes under it's respective game in the URL. I was wondering how I could link pages together like this for the Tony Hawk's Neowiki, since mutliple games have the same levels, I'd like to use this categorization to distinguish between the levels. For example, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 has the level School II, and so does Tony Hawk's Underground. I want to be able to distinguish between the two (in the URL) much in the same way as the Elder Scrolls wiki does, so my URL reads:

I'd like to use the colon, but I'm not sure of how I can change the link of the page. Is it possible to do this to pages that have already been created?

And in this case, you may want to turn the "School II" page into a disambiguation page, or a page that is used to link to other pages with similar names. That page would include links to both "School II (Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2)" and "School II (Tony Hawk's Underground)".
