	I beat the whomping willow at level 30 or so. Incendio works great against it. -- Think: fire against wood. -- Petrificus Totalus helped a little. But one of the main things that helped is that I had worked really hard to get Flipendo, Verdimillious, and Incendio Tria level spells. So try to get those by searching for creatures to fight. Oh, and make sure to have some Grand Wiggenweld and Grand Pepperup Potions, and try to get the best boots, cloaks, etc. for the characters before you get there to help their defense. Hope this helps.
