Save Neville from the Goul

You have to kill the cretures first. To do that you have to use Lumos Duo on them until they go white then Flipeno them. Then other 3 or 4 will appear. Then do the same with them and then charge up the crystal

The best way I've found to kill them at this point was to run to the opposite end of the room when they appear. Turn the camera so you have a clear view of them and their actions. Keep dodging the fireballs but also keep an eye on all 3 of them. Eventually the 3 of them will get close to each other.

Quickly run up to them, aim, and shine Lumos Duo at all 3. Eventually each of them will become translucent. Quicky aim flipendo at the one that becomes visible and fire at it. Then quickly switch back to Lumos to hold the other 2 in place. When they become translucent kill them the same way.

When the other sets appear use the same technique to defeat them. They're a lot easier to kill with Hermonie and Harry around later on in the game. They help distract them.

You've made it all so clear. Here I was thinking that you burnt them with lumos standing near the globe. Thanks a bunch!

Theyalways kill me before going white

it's easier if you just do one at a time, keep dodging fireballs and one will come to you're side of the room, when that happens hide behind the giant mirror (so you don't get hit from behind.) and lumous him, the other two won't be able to stop you cause your behind the mirror, then they get angry and both of them will start to come towards you, turn around and hit a golden goblet on top of the bookcase twice, you'll get a bean and a HP potion, (you'll need it.) then take out the one that should have moved to the back part of the mirror, don't worry about getting hit (HP potion.) after you kill him, just fight the last one, then another 3 of them will come, do the same thing as before, I died about 6 times before I figuered it out.

These had me stuck for AGES! What you have to do, is run at them and flash your Lumos spell at all three. They will all be 'stunned', I suppose you could call it. Target one of them using R1 and hold Lumos until it turns solid - then Flipendo it twice. Holding down Lumos without stunning the other two hinkypunks will do nothing.
