	heh this always happens, people confuse gym leaders with there personal team, i thought seeing as there are soooo many pokemon games these days that people would understand, each gym has to have one type (with the series eception of brocks gym) and one type only, of course the pokemon can be dual types but thats to be expected. Also why would there be a gym after you complete the game, gyms are like qualifactions you need to pass in order to go to the elite four, having a gym afterwards would be... well a waste of time espicially since they are level 90 and by the time anyone got round to fighting them the would most likly be 100 so the wouldnt even get exp -------------------

	Well, starters normally are higher-leveled than the other pokemon in your party, not too mention normally better all-around. In Leaf Green, I chose Bulbasaur. I used him for the 1st & 2nd gym, where he had a type advantage. 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, & 8th gym I didn't use him. He was took weak by then. >_> IMO, Balance gyms are annoying. You already have your rival, not to mention the Elite 4 Champ. And in Sapphire, Wally too.
