 Pokemon Platinum Trainer Card Contest With the popularity of the Platinum forum growing stronger day by day, I felt that it was time for it to have a trainer card contest of it's own.In this thread you get the opportunity to create your own trainer cards based around the theme that has been set. At the end, all of the entries will be gathered and graded. So just have fun making them and improve your skills.                              Rules  Under no circumstances will stealing or claiming other people's work as your own be tolerated. Only 1 entry/trainer card per round - the first trainer card you post in each round will be counted as your entry. Please try and avoid editing posts containing your entry wherever possible. Always ensure that your entry follows the current theme. Any other trainer cards belong in the trainer card gallery. Entries should be saved in PNG format (or GIF if animation is used) to ensure maximum quality. Feel free to ask for C&C within the thread, although please avoid asking repeatedly. Take the card to the trainer card gallery if you want more comments. All other neoseeker rules apply. Have fun of course!Judges    Samkuro Artirtico Boo Congrats Boo on becoming our third judge. If you have any questions just PM one of us. Regular Rounds As the title suggests, these are the typical rounds you're all familiar with. A judge will set a trainer card theme each round giving anybody who wants to participate approximately a week to create a relevant trainer card and post it within this thread. After that time has passed, the entries will be gathered together and graded by a judge, with the best three trainer cards being awarded points as shown in the scoring section below. The round theme, judge and judging date will always be shown here. Current Round: Choose a main game generation (Red/Blue/Yellow, Gold/silver/Crystal, Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald or Diamond/Pearl/Platinum) and imagine that you’ve recently started a new game on it. Your trainer’s team consists of 3 pokemon or less, they have not yet beaten the first Gym Leader and they have not yet traded any pokemon. Create a trainer card about this trainer. You may use any 'ordinary' trainer sprite (no gym leaders etc since they're already proper in game characters) to represent your trainer. Judge: Boo Date: 23rd December New Entries Recommended ^^ Scoring and Scoreboard 1st = 3 Points 2nd = 2 Points 3rd = 1 Point Scoreboard FourthBeat: 16 Artirtico: 10 Hurricarno: 9 Samkuro: 9 Aether: 6 Minirizzle: 6 Lauzi: 4 Boo: 3 Constellation: 2 XtremeZH: 2 HiHi: 2 Disillusioned: 1 Jjoploo: 1 ShinyMilotic: 1 Tournaments A tournament involves a set number of participants taking part in a series of themed rounds, with the entries that recieve the lowest grades gradually being eliminated until only one participant remains to be crowned as trainer card master. There are currently no plans for a tournament to take place in the near future. More information will be posted here if a tournament does take place. I could have sworn that I told someone to replace my last template with this one.  Anyway, it's great to see people still making Trainer Cards. I remember back in the good ol' days when only quite a handful people were making them, myself included, back in the Emerald Forums. I'm sure GhostMember remembers. Psh, good old days in GPF TC COntest were way better than Emerald. I'm sure Weavilax remembers. Oh wait, he's not here... Well then, Death Adder. Not here either? Well Purestealth is here. Oh wait, he doesn't do TC making anymore... Looks like it's just me, Zach, and GE... Damn those were good times, though. TBH, the two best TC makers I ahve ever seen are DA and GM. Hands down.

Hmm, nah I'm not sure why your ribbons are jpg GM...they were in the last thread too
I'll send Sam a PM in case he misses it on here to change it  Likewise with the template Synthesis  Ultimate Shadow - good job for having a go at your own template but it does have some problems...the main one being the huge area of background either side of the 'pyramid' which would likely make the finished card quite bland. The badge boxes are also slightly 'off size' meaning that the frontier bages don't fit in them properly and whilst the 'notch' in the trainer box works well in Synthesis' template, it doesn't really serve a purpose in this one so would probably be better left out. It just doesn't quite have that 'well finished' looking quality imo - feel free anybody else to post their views on it - As I said though, it's good to see something new and I'm sure it can be developed into something great I'm liking the meaning/reasoning behind the card Disillusioned! I've gone for a bit of a farmers theme too  -------------------  | ||
