Electronic Arts has stated that a sequel to DICE's Mirror's Edge hasn't been forgotten.
EA Labels president Frank Gibeau told the latest issue of Game Informer magazine that Mirror's Edge 2 coming into fruition is a case of "really about how and when".
"We have nothing to announce. We love Faith. We love the property. It's really about how and when do you bring it back?
"It's on the list. It's just about looking at what teams are available, who's got the right quality approach to it, and who understands it."
Several years ago, EA executive Patrick Soderlund confirmed a "small team" were involved with a successor to Mirror's Edge. Other occasions has saw rumors about the IP being put on the back burner while others saw EA itself stressing Mirror's Edge will spark a franchise.
