On regards to whether or not I should buy this... |
|
Been thinking about buying Eternal Ring because: A) its cheap and B) I've heard that the only reason it's cheap is because it came out when X Box did and did poor in stores.... seeing how u've all been playing it, what do you think of the game so far? ------------------- "It's not whether you win or lose... To Buy Or Not To Buy |

This game makes a nice little addition to any PS2 collection. Yeah, it's not the BEST RPG in the world, but it's interesting enough to keep. The movement can be a tad difficult sometimes, but it's got nicely rendered backgrounds and a whole slew of nasty beasties to battle. One thing I think that this game is extremely under-appreciated for is its beautiful dragon characters and FMV's. ------------------- ![]() "The stars predict tomorrow you'll wake up, do a bunch of stuff, and then go back to sleep."

I dont think you should bother unless you can get it for next to nothing, i have it and the ring-creation system is really good. Other than that, i didnt really find it the interesting. I got through the game without any problems without dieing once, it was too easy. However i do agree with my fellow gamer SerialZero: quote SerialZeroThis message was edited by redsnakebite on Jun 30 2007.

If you love King's Field, then you will also love Eternal Ring...Once you get past the minor differences... They are both from the same mold, and from the same creators- when they simply felt like taking a break from King's Field, and made Eternal Ring - just before they made "King's Field, The Ancient City." I personally love them all equally... I'm not much of a gamer, except for these four games (King's Field 1, 2, King's Field the Ancient City, and Eternal Ring) All are remarkable and incredible adventures... I am waiting patiently for a new one in the series, it's been a while...
