Well, as I have a lot of time theese days, I'll be loading a JPG daily (Exept for the weekends, I still have my girl bugging me here) but the thing is to see if you guys like my idea for a MK cross over better than the one being developed.

Hopefully someone important will see them and then Boon is gonna know of my idea, and hopefully they will hire me to be the next MK consultant and game developer... (Nha, who am I trying to trick, I'm just posting for fun)

I'll post also parts of my story with each image I upload, so you'll know how the story is more or less.

Tell me of a match you want to see, and in between two days I'll make it for you. Also, a little explanation of their conflict on this crossover would be helpful

Here are the first two images



(Raiden's arc)
The hammer "Mjolnir" from the MK universe got corrupted, and now is known as "the wrath hammer" possessed by Shao Khan. So when the protector of earth realm, the thunder god Raiden enters the new universe Outworld is trying to invade he encounters a bizarre version of himself with another version of Mjolnir, the thunder god from this other dimension, the mighty Thor.

The ultimate clash of deities will unfold.

(Thor's arc)
A new danger has arrived "Midward" in the form of the being known as Blaze, who has corrupted the little mind that the Hulk used to have, now both merged into a massive powerful being of almost unlimited might, the faith of the world rest in the hands of the mighty Thor and the Ultimates.

But the thunder god now faces a big challenge, as another thunder god has also come to this realm, and is trying to claim the Uru hammer Mjolnir to himself



(Storm's arc)
Seeing how a new global threat has arrived, the X-men assemble to assist the Ultimates in the battle against the "Outworld". And a group of them leaded by the weather witch Storm is soon ambushed by a mysterious, yet mystic entity who identify himself as "Fujin" the wind god.

Without hesitation, Storm confronts the so called god who comes from the other dimension before he becomes a major threat for the Ultimate universe.

(Fujin's arc)
Outworld will never stop it's diabolical schemes, now words of a new invasion has arrived, only this time it is not earth realm at peril, but another dimension where story has been told otherwise.

Earth warriors and gods embark to a new war that will be fight in an unknown territory, defended by groups of "mutants" possessing enough power to challenge even the Wind god Fujin, who alone will have to stand afoot against a powerful weather witch and her "X-Men"

This would be a better idea than the MK vs DC of course, cool pics too. Right but i've always wondered what a fight between Nitara and Gambit would give for exemple.

I'm sure you've read this a thousand times, but it must not have registered, so I'll say it again. Boon went to everyone you can think of, from Street Fighter to Tekken to Marvel to Soul Calibur before settling for DC. MK vs. Marvel IS a better idea then MK vs. DC, but Marvel turned Boon down, thus why it is what it is. If Marvel/MK could have been done, it would have been, but since Marvel said no DC is all we have, like it or leave it.

Nitara vs Gambit? I don't know, I'm making the characters who have something in common. Like... Wolverine-Baraka, Dr Strange-Shang Tsung

About the Marvel rejection. Maybe they didn't know how to "sell the idea" I mean, now Marvel is the greatest comic book house out there, why should they make an alliance with Midway? if alone Iron Man and Hulk movies have been a great block buster, plus they are now developed by Marvel itself, so they don't need a cross over unless some one sell the idea correctly to them.

DC by the other hand is trying to do anything to catch with Marvel, and MK is a good opportunity.

Midway was lucky the dark knight had not come out by the time they planned the game, otherwise I don't personally think DC would had accepted.

DC jumped on the idea first chance they had. With Heath Ledger's death and the fact TDK had both Joker and Two-Face they knew it was gonna be a massive blockbuster, yet they would have still went through with the MKvDC. They don't hinge their companies on such minor tangents, they plan ahead A LOT. They planned for TDK to be HUGE and they planned to do MKvDC knowing TDK would be huge. They're not just doing this for more popularity alone, the money it'll rake in is also a huge factor. Let me ask you, if someone gave you a grand everyday for walking a mile everyday would you do it for a week and then tell them to piss off? No, you would do it for the rest of your life and live luxuriously. In the same way, DC aren't going to become a little more popular with TDK and say "Yeah, let's stop now." They'll do what they can to get MORE popularity and money, hence TDK isn't even a factor in deciding whether or not to do MKvDC.

BTW, Goro vs. Omega Red

Help me with the "story arcs" please, why would they fight and things like that.

Also, I would like to change the thread's title, I now think is a bit... Annoying for some fans.

(Omega Red's Arc)

A new, larger threat, bringing chaos and dismay gave Omega Red the perfect oppurtunity to escape S.H.I.E.L.D. and get back on the run. His heart filled with only one thought, revenge. Wolverine, Collosus and Nightcrawler got him locked away, so he would find and kill them. Hearing that the X-Men had gone to engage Fujin, apparently a new mutant with power over wind, Omega Red made haste to the battle. Maybe an alliance could be formed with this Fujin or maybe the distraction he makes will be perfect for taking his targets out.

He didn't have a plan, he just wanted to find and kill them. While crossing a mountain to get to the battle-field, however, he encountered a new threat, the four-armed beast known as Goro.

(Goro's Arc)

"Goro, you are my greatest weapon. I want you to find the strongest fighter's of this new realm and kill them!" Shao Khan's words echoed in Goro's mind as he climbed and walked the mountain, hoping to get to the peak and see where the so-called X-Men were doing battle. After gathering a little information from Shao Khan's spies Goro had a list of powerful being's he needed to destroy. Near the top of that list was a being known as Wolverine. Hearing he was with the X-Men Goro made his way to the place they were supposedly fighting whoever they were fighting... that wasn't important, so Goro didn't remember.

Upon reaching the peak and seeing a group fighting Goro let out a mighty Shokan roar. He began to make his way to them, before seeing someone in his path. The two recognised each other immediately as threats, charging into battle without wasting words.
