yea shes hesitant because she said i crashed her old computer and now we have a teeny weeny laptop and she says we'll get viruses and i said the sites been checked as safe by the antivirus thingy but im actually using my phone to write all of these messages X___X

yea.. But I dont use email! The only thing she let me sign up for is Neopets. Which are cute....

You don't really need to use E-mail much, just get one e-mail account, and use it to register on neoseeker.

You really should use e-mail though, just exercise caution when unknown persons try to contact you.

You'd need to log in to your e-mail on occasion, to keep it alive (they make it defunct after a while, for Hotmail, it is 3 months of inactivity, I think).

I thought it was 6 months.

I found the best way to convince parents to let you do something like create an account on a site is to show them an overwhelming amount of information proving your argument, and killing theirs, but that's just me. It takes maybe 5 minutes to set up an email at hotmail, which you could use to build an account. You only need to be able to access the email when you make the account, after that you never need to use it.
