Dark Gaia help here.

Anyways, I play the game and I'm having trouble with the
"Dark Gaia Guardian"! I try to make a hit on him but he blocks me then he shoots electric bombs at me!! Can You help me?

1st reply: Yes I started it myself and basicly just run around in circles, head for him and attack. I ment to say THE Dark Gaia but it is effically the ANY Dark Gaia.
2nd reply: Lasers, lasers, lasers. I fought Dark Gaia numourous of times but I can't remember. I haven't played since 2008. If you mean the dark balls, PS2: X, Xbox360: ???, Wii: A or B?, PS3: X? or if it's the slashes, middle: up, down, Across: up, down again, all over: This is tricky! Get directly in the middle! It's hard but possible. Speed boost through the rings and attack Dark Gaia's eye with the Super Sonic Blast! Hope I helped. If not, keep trying your best and think of something new.

Okey, just wit till he flyies to a platform (dodge some attacks before he gets there) and stay on the oppisite side, DIRECTLY on the wall to avoid his attack. Now jump on the platform and, while he is carging up, attack him with the water. This requires waiting and aiming. he will then go to the middle and restore himself. This is your chance to attack! hit him untill a combo appears so hit him with the big kahona (Finale attack)! He will resore him self to fire and peck the ground. go as far as you can or junp over it to avoid it. Repeat process untill it is defeated and returns to... I will not say it because it is a spoiler. Hope I helped alittle!

So I'm playing this for the PS3 and I got the perfect Dark Gaia and lost. However, whenever I try to play again I click on Eggmanland and I have to beat Egg Dragoon and regular Dark Gaia again to the perfect Dark Gaia. How do I get around this?
