Slaying Rathalos

I'm Hr rank 1 and there is a quest there that has the Rathalos. I've tryed to kill it before but it's poisonous claw attack keeps killing me.
Here is my armor set and wep:

Helm: Monoblos Helm
Plate: Monoblos Mail
Arms: Basarios Vambraces
Waist: Monoblos Coil
Legs: Lobster Greaves
Wep: Ravager Blade+

Is my armor and weapon okay? Anyone's reply will be greatfull.

Thx. The main problem with it's flying attacks is every time I try to go under it, it blows me into little hunter pieces. Lol.

How good is the Rathalos armor set?

Just like Uncle said stay in under it when hes in the air shooting hes fire ballz/charge and start cahrging as soon as he starts to descent and then once you hit him jsut roll yuout fo the way somewhere save .However i do understand that low lvl rathlaos dont do much air atacks.so use traps and charge hes head flash bombs works well to but only for ^+O combo (not charge).

You need Webbing, Shell, Scales,
and Wings, if I remember correctly, you can't make 1 set of it from 2* Guild, it should be HR3 or village one, how far have you played this?
