sorry, but Normal S lv 1 is useless. you should never ever switch to Normal S lv 1. and for diablos, just use Pellet S lv 3 or lv 2 (depending on which ammo can be shot by your hbg which is recoil free) + combine to make more of Pellet ammo type

If your bowgun didn't support Pellet S, then just get a new bowgun. bowgun without pellet s = useless for blos killing.
and for farming tail, you can always catch/get it from reward. usually I got ton of tail from speed killing blos with bowgun when trying to get the horns

at low/high rank, gypceros/purple's gun is a good HBG for pellet S. for G-Rank, use Yama's hbg

gs against blos is easy i hit him with infinite combo till i see his charge tell then i roll through his legs if he digs sonoc bomb then level 3 charge then flash bomb and infinite combo and best ls i have is devil slicer

I dont really flash him unless he aggravates me and i want to cut his tail quick otherwise i just sonic bomb him

Can anyone tell me how to get some firewyfern marrow out of a rath or other monster

marrow is high rank isnt it?
