Couldnt disagree more.Best way killing YKK is with GS ofc.No need for complicated tactics (traps,flashes,sonics etc) all you have to do trow 1 sonic at the begining do 1 full lvl 3 charge on him and get between hes legs once between hes legs just spam combo of : O and O+^ Ykk will die under 2mins.

Wow, so many things to make from Yian Garuga materials. Finished the Yian Garuga armor set. Created the Raven Blade and Raven Tessen. Still have the Garuga Mask and Raven Torrent to make.

If you are a gs user get the golem blade and start upgrading do not upgrade to executioner instead to the other blade then that is the best gs that I know for low rank with 916 damage, it is still useful to me, when you are higher get the ravager blade upgrade it to tactical blade, it is good to take down hr 4 monster, do not try to make gold serpent blade very expensive and pretty much useless to me. Also you don't need any sharpning for the weapon, sive the time I got I never sharpened it even with a armor that doesn't allow weapons to be sharp.

gn_x00 thanks for your last post, I was thinking what to do with my garuga armor except for killing diablos and I thought the ceanatuer armor is the best low rank?

Golem Blade > golem blade+ > executioner > Sword of diablos >>>> KAS (the best GS in the game as long as you know how to use it)

I have to disagree here. Tactical Blade will upgrade into Strategic Blade and can't be upgraded any further.
Ravager blade+ > Chrome Razor > Carbalite Sword > Bronze Coin >>> Gaoren Cleaver (best GS after KAS)

HGE.
Garuga armor is pretty much a "good when fighting monsters that roar" armor.

Just make sure you don't get to Executioner+, otherwise you've gone too far.
Sieglinde is also a dead end. But the Titernia path is a good one that is from the same sword predecessor, goes for Dragon Attribute though, elemental greatswords are meh.
Sieglinde and Siegmund are good greatswords for their current rank, but they have nowhere to go afterward. gn_x00 adequately explained the path for all the best greatswords. May as well stick to that unless you're collecting every final weapon like I am.

Sure it is. And it just so happens that "complicated tactics" are one of the better ways of fighting monsters that actually require them or challenge the player. Good luck with that tactic when your sharpness goes down.

It just so hapens that i completed all vilage chief quests (high level to) with this tactic (YKK,Gypeceros,sometimes garuga to but got to be more carefull for rathian spin attack)
