Plum.D Hermitaur

Surprisingly, the purple hermitaur is weak to Ice and gets poisoned rather well too. My favorite setup for fighting it is using the Glacial Medusa dual swords and a set that gives me Runner and DivineProtection, another good attribute would be Evade Dist Increase or Evade +1/+2.

Depends on your weapon of choice. What do you prefer to use? I could easily think up a set that would go well against Plum D. Hermitaur using that weapon.

Ukanlos HBG makes the whole Plum D Hermitaur cry. if you know how to use it right, even a hbg like Blangonga's will kill it fast

There aren't even a single reason to use Guard skill with HBG/Hammer/DS

My favorite DS vs. Plum Hermi is Glacial Medusa (Or its predecessors) with Full Narga S except for the helmet (use Yellow Piercing or similar head that gives +Stamina) gemmed for Runner along with Evade Dist Inc and (If possible, it's been a while so I don't remember) Constitution +1.

That's what I used for my first fight vs. Plum D, was pretty damn easy.

If you can,try to create Icy Impact.It's an ice elemental hammer with an attack of 1196 and 240 ice or you can create Daora's Collosus which attack is lower than Icy impact but more ice element.
