easy way to kill black gravios and gravios

I'm trying to find ways to kill gravios and what to use against it, any suggestions?

I would use a ranged weapon unless you have ESP or really know what you are doing. The shell is rock hard, so any bladed weapon would have trouble going in. For some reason, the SnS doesn't bounce on the wings. You should be trying to break the stomach, but being underneath it is a hazard due to the gas and flying body slam. Not much of a problem if you know what you're doing, but not as easy compared to the Pierce S barrage bowguns and bows can put up. Aim for the face and shoot before a fire beam or charge and you should be fine. At higher ranks, Gravios has a sweeping beam that can hit you unless you dodge well. I would use Daimyo's Warbow III at low rank, IV at high rank, and Great Purple Emperor at G Rank. Always fire fully charged Pierce from the front or through the wings. As far as Blademasters go, I would use Frost Edge/+/Hi Frost Edge SnS and attack the wings when it does the beam. Going into the belly is risky business, so stay outside. As for other weapons like Great Sword and Lance, prepare to get hit a lot. You can also break the stomach with bombs, consuming your whole stash, but if you do, the stomach is a definite weak spot, as well as a place where you can wail on without fear of bouncing. However, the melee methods can be expensive, and most importantly, time-consuming. To minimize the cost, using the bow w/o any coatings would be nice, but a good Lao-Shan Cannon with Pierce Level 3 can net you a Gravios quick.

other than that, poison works well on black gravios.

Gunning is the way to kill him, but you should use lvl3,2, and 1 pierce or normal, and use lots of crags when he blasts you with the heat beam. Always aim for the head or the chest if it breaks.
