I do, and for good reason. I have sisters man, that explains it all right there.

Though I'm not the one bringing him up, I don't go out of my way to be spiteful. If it's brought up my two cents go in.

You don't. Not the HD edition at least. You just have to figure it out with the aid of a guide/wiki, I'd suggest bobofango's.

Oh, and the big multiplayer day for the english speaking players is fridays on server S2-3. I try to join in on that but now that my brother has TriG as well I'll probably be on that instead for a while.

I love playing as a mage =) the lightning whip spell is endlessly amusing, I love the animation where the player pulls a lightning bolt from the staff and lashes it out =D And then you can use it for as long as your stamina bar lasts, the bolt stays in your hand. Big step up in the feeling of having power than other games give you when playing a mage. And being able to put elemental powers into all your allies is really useful I think. My Strider sidekick does scary amounts of damage when I buff her with the right element for the enemy. Clawed an ogres eyes out in seconds once she got onto its face XD

Aside from the two mage and the mage/knight hybrid class I've not tried much else, so my opinion is likely biased. The Strider was fun for me and double jump is something I always miss when I swap to mage.

A while into the game you can unlock the other professions and change freely. You pay discipline to unlock each one and then once unlocked it's free to change to it and back, so don't worry about getting stuck =)

You can get some extra loot before you head off with Rock(pawn). As soon as you leave your hometown follow the wall to your right, there will be a ledge to jump down to(though watch your life because you might get hurt by jumping) and you'll see it. Don't do it by night because the water will make your lantern useless and it get's really dark.


Also you'll notice some big trees while walking outside, useful herbs grow around the base so look out for those.

Also don't get rid of that first pawn you encounter(Rock) because he'll be useful for a few missions later on, and by useful I mean he's gonna save your ass from getting lost/wandering around looking for the place until it gets dark. He apparantly is the only one(I may be wrong but the others were pretty much lost) who knows the way to that place.
