	Log in to remove this sponsored message Have you guys noticed when you hit a monster, u feel it that it was a thick part, and sometimes you hit the monster and your hit just goes through easily. Do they receive more damage when u hit the thick part? 	Thick... and thin? Do you mean weak spot/critical hits? And yes, when there's a split second pause after a weapon hit, you're hitting the most damaging part of a monster, and when there's no pause, you're hitting an ordinary part. The weak points are usually hard to reach though. Critical hits only happen if you don't bounce, and that's where sharpness comes in.

	not weapon sharpness, like PhantomTsuki said, the one with delay "the thick part" is the weak spot. it is easily noticeable with GS. bring GS and hit Rathalos in head. you will find it as thick part, while againts Silver Rathalos, the head is the thin part, while the thick part is the wing

	As stated above, the spots youbare hitting are the weak spots of a monster. While most weak spots are on the head of a monster, some are elsewhere. Examples: Gypceros : Tail stub Plesioth : Stomach Gravios : Broken Chest Silver Rathalos : Wings Kirin : Directly on horn Shen Gaoren : Legs Diablos : Tail stub

	I never knew of a weak spot on a monster. I always thought it was the same around. What is the weak spot on a kut ku?
