Strats to kill Congalala

I cant kill that stupid ape. I have a Red Saber (I know he's weak to fire) and full battle armour. I've gotten close, and have my psp on sleep right now after my first death. He's ate his shroom (not sure if that's a sign) but I mistook my shock trap for a potion:#. So thats gone. But mainly, I just want to know if him eating his shroom is a good sign. (I've been using the rolling dodge more often with him, seems to work.)

eating is a bad sign for me... dunno it is matter with his health or not, but he will have some new attack like the breath (which has effect like sleep, poison or other depending what he eat)

Not really that much different actually...

Anyway, his weakness is fire. it's true. but his weakness to it isn't as much as Khezu or Narga weakness to fire. If you don't hit him in the face, just use a highest raw weapon that you can use.
Of course, red saber can kill him just fine
