sup ppl i just start the game and i would like some advice -- on how to rlly start since im a HR1 i rlly havent got into the game much but i started hunting the starting moster Giadrome and pretty much mining him out and started on the Giaprey armour --- and again just lookin for advice

Well, he can do the guild first before village... just take it as MH's hard mode

my guides are:
1. Get iron katana, as it is deadly and fast, farm items for it, you wont regret it
2. Dont get any prey armor its useless, make himetal and gypceros, gypceros on at a long end of h2 as u might want to upgrade the katana higher.
3. Once u get to h5 get monoblos, 100% worth it as it is one of the few in the beggining that increases ur health.
4. Do not do plesioth as u will have probs with him
5. If u ever get to h5 and want to do monoblos, never never go to it without a good, really good lightining katana, a first lightining katana upgrade is enough with good dodging timing

If you want one of the best sets for DS in Low rank. I suggest getting Garuga armor with instead of the normal helmet the mask. It gives you Sharp Inc, Sharpsword, RA +1 and earplug which comes in handy for DS.

I suggest to try several weapon types and familiarize yourself with them. It's better to get to know several weapon types than to try and specialize in one, makes fighting in high and G rank much easier.

Like said before a good first armor to get is a kut-ku armor or like I stated above the garuga armor. If you want to know which weapons are the strongest of a certain type at your rank there is a weapon guide on gamefaqs.

uhm i have the full garuga set switched out the helm for mask and i get nothing but earplug so im wondering... is there an actual set for the garuga mask that i am oblivious to atm?
