Lao's Ruby

You get it from a high or g rank Lao. The latter has a higher drop rate. You can get it from quest rewards (though v rare), u get it from carves and u get it from breaking shoulders (only possible using ranged). When u start farming g rank Laos for heavenlies you'll get more rubies than you'll know what to do with...

U can also get it by trading a sky veggie ticket with the jungle elder. That's how I got my last one, since I absolutely hate farming Lao heavenllies. Even more so than BEDJ.

you get lao shan heavenly with sky ticket, you need something a bit lesser than that for ruby - can't remember which.

veggie elder tickets are given to you the more you play ad hoc. the higher your friendship level increases with a particular hunter the more better tickets you get i think. there's bronze, silver, but sky is the highest iirc. you can get lao heavenlies or los heavenlies depending on which veggie elder you trade the ticket for (i.e. jungle, swamp, desert etc etc)
