Kushala daora is totally impossible

As the subject says, it's impossible. Every time i get close to him he makes wind and knocks me to the ground before i can even draw my wepen it sucks so hard. Really really annoying me now

Yes it is. Just tried him again then and your not even able to draw a wepen on him. Get close and he just knocks you to ground and then covers you in ice. There must be some way to beat him or he would not be there as a for star quest. Any body here has able to kill him? I did not know this was a popular game. Thought it was just me that liked it.lol. Been stuck on this monster for ages and there it's no way to get close to attack him. I use eager cleaver with full kut ku d armour. I don't use bow or range wepen at all, but I'm starting to think that the only way to kill this one is with range due to his wind. If that's the case I wont ever beat him

basically, just wait untill it does its tornado breath attack and then hit it in the head a few times, keep doing that untill you flinch/break the head, then the wind shield will be gone

alternatively, use the poison throwing knives they give you (i think they give you some) and try and break the head while the wind shield is down.

i used eager cleaver too. what i did was easy. if the wind knock you back, why dont you get away from him while he has his own aura?

there are several time where he will disable his wind aura. like shooting wind fireball? sometimes, he will roar after shooting fireball. even better, sometimes, after the roar, he will try to adjust his position facing you. this will give you like 5 seconds to unleash hell!!

a tactic that i used, i stand quite a distance facing him. with this, he will either fly, charge towards you, and shooting fireball. that;s what i waiting for! shoot your fireball kushy, coz i would avoid it and go to your face and slash the heck of your face.

you can get your chance. the aura is not forever.

and this is not recomemmended, but whenever he's flying and he does not have the aura with him, i stay under him and slash his tail. but maybe you need experience to know when to roll away.

and maybe upgrade your armour? why not use garuga? or other armour that has better defense and skill?

Thanx for the fast reply guys. I just made a wyvern blade leaf (think it's called that) as I read the poison helps. I'm still very new to the game and took me a while to get mats for this wepen so hope I am able to beat him now. Doubt it lol.

I got the tigrex urgent quest open now to. If I can't beat the kush I no chance with tigrex I don't think. Would like to turn my eager cleaver into the devil slicer, but there is two materials I can't get yet thunder bug juices and something else. I read up about the thunder juice and I need to get that from tower map apparently? Which I don't have unlocked yet

not tried the tigrex yet, I'm trying to do the quests in the order they are given to me, and the kush is the last one I need to do on the for star quests. Finding it very hard indeed he seem to be able to do a lot of damage to me in very short times. Even with max potions he still can kill me in two or the hits every time

I go try him now with my new leaf wepen and se if it makes a difference with the poison attribute. It's not as powerful as my eager cleaver but it has the poison on it which I'm hoping well help me.

hmm, for armour, it depends on your style really.

personally, i used garuga on him with garuga mask. that way, i have earplug, sharp sword, and RA+1 [or was it RA+2 after gemmd?]. but one time, i tried blango armour. not bad at all. no more iceman because it has snow resistance.

and when fighting elder dragon, i like to bring my kitty with dragon elemental move juz to break dragon's horn=) dragon weapon is quite weak in raw power and sharpness imo. but you don't need dragon element to break kushy's horn irrc, so its optional.

Get Blango set. Use Wyvern Blade 'Leaf'. Poison negates his Wind Aura. When he's on poison, keep attacking his head until his horns break. His Wind Aura should be gone.

OT- uhh, im not really sure what i used back then, i think i wore kut ku armour for tigrex, im not entirely sure...
i do remember that i didn't bother with kushy untill i was slightly further through the village quests.

Man that sucks. It's not clear quest isn't clear on the list I guess you have to kill him to clear the quest. But it said quest complete? And I got some rewards to. That kinda sucks. How to stop him from flying away so I can kill him?
