Chief Lao Shan Lung Help

I havent tried the quest yet, but any advice on how to kill it? not defeat, but kill? I really need its materials. if u dont have any advice on how to kill it, wat about just defeating it?

This is how I did it (and I got it from Mazereon for Grank lao but also works for all the other ones):

Get full Diablo D armor (from the black one) Then you can get the skills: wind press up (so you don't get blown down by his feet), sharp sword and you can gem it for sharpening skill so that you can sharpen it faster. The weapon I used is the Tigrex hammer. When he's entering an area plant some LBB+ and wait till his face is over it, blow them up then charge up your hammer and hit him in the face untill his belly is attackable, so probably after about 3-4 charged attacks on his head. Then go to his belly and triple pound the area that flab that's hanging on the ground. You want to hit the front side of that flab hanging on the floor cause if you hit the sides of it you might bounce off. then roll and hit him again etc and so on. It might be a bit tricky at first but once you get the hang of it you can kill him with around 10 mins to spare.

you don't even need to use the dragonator or the anti dragon bombs, what you should do however is pick up the ballista rounds, pick up some more from the racks untill you have 10 and then when you're entering the last area wait at the ballista untill he enters the area then you have to aim at the opening and you should be able to him without even seeing him. You can watch a movie on youtube if you wanne know where to aim the ballista.

You're telling him to kill the High rank Lao for a weapon to kill the Low rank Lao. And then you tell him to get a G rank weapon, to kill the High rank Lao, to kill the Low rank Lao.

Does that not sound stupid to you?

I know what you said. How is he supposed to get Smoulder Dragonsword - made from HR5 Lao parts - if he needs help on Lao? If he's asking for help on killing a Lao, then how on earth is he going to kill the harder version of the creature he needs help on?

And your advice of getting a HR9 weapon to kill the HR5 Lao is equally bad. If he's at the 6* Elder level, then what do you think the chances of him killing a HR9 Rajang and HR8 Copper Blangonga are?

Your advice is actively harmful, as it tells him he can't kill Lao with gear available at his level which is incorrect.

Dude, if he needs help on clearing the Chief Lao-Shan he can't kill any of the monsters you mentioned.

I tried many weapon but I can only repel him with pierceS LBG, and kill him with fire DS. I think the most easy way with no skill is DS. I used GS and hammer on him but I could not repel him, so it require some practice.

For DS, just looking for best fire DS at your level. I start use DS at HR9 so I could not help you on the lower level DS.

Armor, you need sharpness+1, and sharp sword skill, if you have more slots put in sharpener, or element up.

Item:
5 mega juice
farcaster and exited room and bomb materia to make more farcaster
whetstone
MegaDemon drug and anything else can boost your attack

Method:
Wait until he comes. Drink mega juice then demon dance under his head. whetstone when you need to. Farcaster at the end of the area so you don't get hit by the tail. Combine your farcaster then repeat at next area. I go for the head which is not the most damage area, but require no skills, all you do is demon dance his head until he die, even baby can do this. You can go under his belly where is the most weeknest, but he will step on you or shake you, so the time will be about the same.

Also, if your weapon too weak to kill it. It will be 100% waranty repel.
