Felyne paralysis attack

Yeah I know he is just support and unreliable, but hot damn he never freaking paralyzes or ko's the big mob. He rapes the little ones though.
So if I drop shock trap and take up workaholic ( is that "tireless "?) he might ko or paralyze The big mob a bit?
Also, since the chances for him to do anything to the big mob seems to be so low, should I just do all attack up skills instead ? Affinity, attack up, workaholic ( hit more) ? Since those skills will be active a lot more often, will that help him be a bit of a help? Or is his attack damage just a joke even with those attack skills?

I can't really remember the name. It's the skill which makes your cat attack more for less health. I'd say the cat will have a bigger chance of paralyzing with it but still, don't count on it

I wouldn't suggest an attack cat. Even with the best skills and highest attack it still does crap damage. IMO, you'll get better mileage if you use it for support like status or buffs. My most used cat is scrapper cat with flute skills

I would go for true health flute since it can really help you when you are in a jam if your not using heroics. I thought the point of the felyne helper was to give you that more co-up feeling.

Pretty much but further use of the cat enlightened me that it's just another target with no real kick in battle. It's useful in that sense though. Using the turning method with GS or hammer is very different when you're playing coop because you can't always expect the monster to turn to you. The cat, in a way, helps you practice with someone else around
