I am surprised at the lack of Earplug/HGE sets, especially for gunner. Roar cower = death. I might make some.

if you're making a set with HGE then chameleos or khezu g rank hats are the best.

ok, i've just made a new set, so i thought i'd post it here.
i will probably never use it, i prefer damage boosting skills.

With a few exceptions, you can predict when a roar is coming and panic dive away from it EG. HR9 Silver will roar twice when using heroics and the ULC - once after 3 thunder to a main hitzone, and again after 47 thunder to a main hitzone. So you can prepare and do the trigger damage at a time when evasion is possible, or get it in a trap and know that the roar is coming when it gets out That is my little bit of learn-as-you-play logic that renders Earplug a waste of skill points that could be spent on stacking offense =D That is just an alternative, it isn't for everybody. I only use 3 armour sets anyway, and all 3 are offensive stack sets for heroics... I already posted Blango mix and Blos-Soul, and the third set is just Rajang

YOU can predict the number of bullets until it roars. Normal players don't kill the same monster 100s and 100s of times with the same setup just to achieve perfection. Clearly earplug is of no use to you, but it is to the average gunner.

No need to be like that Yuki, I was only making a suggestion, it really is just adaptive instinct lol. So what if I'm a perfectionist?! I'm sure that I could help people with the things I've taken ages to learn I maintain my position - Earplugs are a luxury and not needed unless against Khezu, Garuga or Blos for the cautious.. Edit - Have I upset you or something? You never talk to me like that normally lol - and it isn't like you aren't a MH nut and an elitist cow half the time

Hmm, I do accept that your average player will not play for 1000+ hours. My perception of things is "how fast can I kill it with heroics?", and not "how do I beat it?".. I guess in my heart I know that 99% of people find gunning Plum Hermitaur without evade hard, yet I argued about it because I can do it in 4mins. My view is that of a perfectionist - did you know it takes 88 thunder and 48 normal 2 to beat HR9 Tigrex with ULC,Heroics, and perfect aim?! I do, and that's because I have done it 20 times and it is accurate to within 6bullets lol But your average player would just want to beat it, not f-it up in 8mins.. I do accept your point.. kinda
