Hunter Politeness

I've been noticing a trend among this forum. Back in the day, when someone asked a question, they'd get a simple response. But lately, when someone asks a question, chances are good that someone will come out of nowhere being a complete jerk. Sure, some hunters know a lot less than others, but is that really grounds to be a jerk? Guys, this is a forum intended to help people. Has anyone else been noticing this?

re: Hunter Politeness

I've noticed this, because I'm one of them. I accept that, but it's hard. The reason why we lash out is because of the rules. Like yourself, you revived a dead thread. LASHED. Someone asked where an item is, where it's in the thread index. LASHED. Someone wants to know how to unlock an urgent. LASHED.

But, I agree that we should let these people have a second chance and not be so mean, and I really need to do an attitude check and become more polite.

I Will Not Play Nice, as my previous title said.

Anything that begins with, "I know this isn't the right place..." deserves nothing but the person who posted to be slammed against a brick wall by a truck seven times. Any thread titled 'NargA' with the OP stating, "How I keel plz? > <== Smiley insert." deserves the same punishment. I don't care if someone 'forgot' to or chose simply not to read the rules. If I were to come into a new community, I would check the rules first. It's simple common sense. Anyone who has been lashed has deserved it. At this rate, Conor will have to edit Neoseeker to hold Size 8 text so people see the words below our header clearly.

Actually, that's not against the rules. There's really no reason to be "lashed" if that necromancer in question actually offered a problem to be fixed. It becomes spamming when it happens multiple times, and the necromancer does not need help.

DoE's case, iffy, but still fine.

Haha, I see where you're coming from. Those people comment something like

cant kill narga? what do i do? whats the best weapon help plz

are pretty annoying. Not that I'm saying to go check minegarde first, but there is a search bar. Silly questions annoy people quickly. Like I saw one that asked how to get a Tigrex tail.

Community issues such as this should be discussed in the Moderator's Corner thread.
