	Your question almost answers itself. True health flute is good for healing, Demon flute for attack boosts. I would also suggest using a Felyne that is peace-loving. -------------------

	Look for e Felyne that "does not attack" or what KOTS said "peace loving". They are the best support cats.

	If you are having problems due to their Auras I would suggest one that attack with Dragon Element to help you break it's horns while you use poison to keep them from using their Ancient Dragon Skill like fire aura or wind aura. The horns can be broken as long as they have been damaged with 1 dragon point. If not maybe a boost for defense too?

	I will post my support pet, it's really useful: Peace-loving (It won't attack monsters, but still can hit you out of stun/sleep), all points in defense so it won't die so easily (still 1 hit from g-rank monsters, but heal fast so it's not a big deal). Skills: Great Health Flute, Demon Flute, Armor Flute, these are the best for a support felyne I think, since it can buff you and heal ------------------- Current Playing: Monster Hunter Tri (Wii), Final Fantasy XIII (Xbox360), Final Fantasy VII: Crisis core (PSP). World is just like hell, just a bit worse.

	It depends on his fondness, if it's level 5 he is going to help way more than if he had 4. My felyne has fondness 5, he heals me 3 times for ques +-, and buffs like 5x attack/defense. ------------------- Current Playing: Monster Hunter Tri (Wii), Final Fantasy XIII (Xbox360), Final Fantasy VII: Crisis core (PSP). 	I would reccomend not getting the armor flute and getting the shock trap one,although he doesn't lay it very often it still helps a bunch on a free trap.

	Funnily enough, that saved me the other day. I had two minutes left on "Monster Hunter", and Rajang turned weak. I had no traps left, and with 40seconds left my Cat put a trap down lol. The Rajang even played along and jumped into it. I will always owe that Cat bigtime.. it was the last quest I had left in the game -------------------

	as the others said you need to have one that does'nt attack as well as have a high fondness lvl so it will focus more on you. "no gathering" will also help focus on you or "hyperdrive" which will make it heal you more frequently.
