Narga Heavenly Scale

which rank of nargacuga is the best to get Narga Heavenly scale i need two of them to make Narga X
EDIT: Do i need to break certain parts to get a higher chanche to get it and when do you know when you can capture it because i allways think its not weak enough and i kill it -_- help with this plz

do the epic hunting quest with the naruga in the g* quest hall

Ten?!In that risky tail cut?!Well i got some on that quest and only get 3 per quest (break as everything as i can just to get Heavenly Scales)

The highest drop rate is to do the dual Narga quest, break both tails, and then capture them. I have around ten of them hehe.

Can i just ask... is an armour with 528 defence and guard up enough to withstand attacks from Narga G* urgent. the one attack i'm dreading is the tail slam....

yeah...and tbh it tails slam like 3 times in the quest and their like really predictable.

Cheers, yeah i know to listen out for the rattling and stance it takes before the slam.

I had a HR6 black gravios that the only move it was willing to do was the beam swipe where it does its beam thing and sweeps the screen from its left to right...hard to avoid and pretty much 1 hit kill at that level.

So i'd rather not have a trigger happy Narga too :/

lol yeah and the swipe it does with its tail fails terribly if you just roll under it.

Does anyone know what is needed for the armour? if possible can someone write whats needed for each piece of armour (Gunner)
