i wouldn't say that being on a ledge is that benefitial to be honest. as some attacks can get onto the ledge....examples are:

Any blos thats charging at a ledge that your on. depenging on its size it could still hit you with its horn, and no matter what the size it'll deffo make a small tremor upon inpact with the ledge.

Tigrex's jump and snowball attack. herm's bubblejet attack. blangonga's snowball throw. conga's bellyflop and shite throw.
YKK, Garuga's fireballs they spit out can reach the front of the ledge even if its higher than them.

rathalos tends to fly up and fire down.
kirin's homing in thunder.

thats not all of em, but you get the picture. to gun a monster and avoid every attack....stay light on your feet and don't stay stood too long

I used wyvern blade fall on my first khezu, after spending ages trying to practice using longswords! But yeah, learn the moves and you'll be ok!

I killed him with bone katana shark bring shock traps and pitfall traps and it should be easy

as always with monsters, learning their movement pattern is the key to victory.
If you feel that the kezu is owning you hard, try to go into the mission and just avoid the attacks.
Just keep avoiding until you know his patterns and then you will know when you will have openings to attack, and as you get more experienced you will be abel to take advantage of all opeings while getting away without getting hit once.
Also get to know your weapon, learning your combos so you can do them in your sleep as well as keeping track of how long you will need to execute a combo so you know when you can and can not use it.

Bow has a terrible damage output compared to guns, especially since Aka Bow was nerfed. You don't have to charge a bowgun, and with adrenaline and heroics you get about 1000 raw on a heavy bowgun at HR6+. On a Bow you'd get like what, 500? The range of ammo is brilliant, you can completely use everything to your advantage. With large monsters bowguns are BETTER.

Bows suck, you're all just fanboys who want to be cool and kawaii like Legolas. Bows have crappy damage in exchange for movement speed and backhop, none of which you need, and Bow users in my experience seem to die too much even despite this luxury.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Meaning that bows are better for some people.

i've just now beaten the blangoga. other than it i've beeten them all with bowguns because they telagraph (its a wreastling term) there atks so you can simply roll from the ranged ones having a cat is helpfull
