	Log in to remove this sponsored message Hi, I'm a MH noob and I'm addicted to it. I recently completed the 2 star quest the village elder gave me and got an urgent quest called: 'Shadow in the Snow' In this quest, I must kill a beast called a Khezu. Here's the problem, it owns me, hard. So I was wondering if it was possible to get online help slaying a Khezu, after all, there are power in numbers. Thanks SwixerSwaxer

	I had trouble with Khezu too, but I managed to defeat it at first with Gypceros Armor (I dined in the Felyne kitchen to gain additional Thunder defence), pumped up on rations and a nutrients and used, what is it called, the Barbaroi? I heard it's not fantastic though, but I've been beating Khezu much more easily since I'm using Black Katana Mk.II. It's quicker, has equal 'reach' and you can stab Khezu when he's thundershocking. When he's raging, just keep away from him until he calms down. I can't help you online, but these are the best tips that I can give you for him. Edit: Crap, you can't get Hercudromes for this sword yet, at least until after Khezu when you unlock the Volcano. D:

	Learn its moves and how to avoid them, and try using an SnS or a Gun/Bow. Theyre the perfect weapons for this fight as you can, with a bit of skill avoid all of its attacks. With these, its just a matter of time before the monster dies. Good luck.

	First of all you can't do village quests with others, so you're on your own. I find a SnS best for Khezu, it's fast and can block. When he does his electric shield, wait for him to finish then jump in and add 2 or 3 combos and get out. If you aim for the legs he should trip alot, giving you the time to do a full combo on his head. Repeat this and he should be dead in no time.

	The thing is very simple. 2 things must know: 1. Watch out that roar when it's in rage mode (cause it faster and it may hit you when you're in the "cover your ear" mode.) 2. For future quest, if you're fighting the Khezu inside the cave of the swamp area it will cling on to the top and will drop on you (just look for the shadow.)

	Also, watch out when you're in the cave. It may try to get you into a corner so it can wall-spam you with charge and thundershock. He killed me once that way and it was so aggravating!

	Oh yeah, i forgot - Use fire if possible. Weapons like Kut Ku bow and Red saber are perfect, along with fire bullets. stay away from it if possible attacking when open, and avoid attacking its tail

	I gunned the khezu when i did it i used the melynxe ragdoll its not hard to get the khezu only goes into usually areas 3 and 1 it doesnt stay out of the caves for long. theres lots of ledges in the mountians but on short ledges watch out for the khezus shock jump.

	i used wyvern blade fall i got the flame sacs from kut kus fire wyv fluid from trenyas boat and i had full kut ku so yeah with that its pretty easy

	I don't remember what weapon or armor I used to defeat my first Khezu, but I do remember that I used dungbombs to help me. The dungbombs confuse the Khezu and keeps him from zeroing in on your location since the Khezu relies on smell to find you. He can't see. In other words, throw the stink!
