Sims 3 mods not working after installing Ambitions

My mods are not working after I installed Ambitions. I move my mods folder to My documents but nothing happened. I also have it at Program files/Electronic arts/Sims 3 Ambitions. I have my resource.CFG at both the root file and at the mods folder. I have mods that are compatible but it still doesn't work. How do I get them working??

Actually, mods aren't pointless. They can make the aspects of the game much more fun. They also can fix mistakes that Maxis fails to fix Dx

Now did you reinstall them? Sometimes adding new EP's can get rid of a current mod.

Since Ambitions came out all mods must be placed in Documents, not the Program Files area.
This is why your mods are not working, so follow these instructions -

Go to following path “MyDocuments\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\
”and create a New Folder and name it as “Mods”

Download the “Resource.cfg” file and place it in the "Mods" folder.
Make sure to open the Resource file with notepad, make sure it has this wrote within -

Priority 500
PackedFile Packages/*.package
PackedFile Packages/*/*.package
PackedFile Packages/*/*/*.package
PackedFile Packages/*/*/*/*.package
PackedFile Packages/*/*/*/*/*.package
PackedFile Packages/*/*/*/*/*/*.package

if not erase whats in it and copy/paste this there!

Also in that “Mods” folder create a New Folder called “Packages”.
Place all of the mods or modification files that come with ” .package” extension in the “packages” folder.


And your done! that should be that! That's how I got my cc to work
