	Log in to remove this sponsored message The Sims are rated M for "Recommended for Mature audiences" and that's sort of the same thing for a "teen rating". It's just not suitable for younger kids like what Starz said; 12+. It's up to the parents if they want their kids to see this stuff if their young. Oh, and another thing: who would want a relistic game because you don't get a job (click) just like that and it takes a long time for people to learn how to cook and stuff. I know, I know, there's a cap that lets your Sims do things faster but it's good to know that we have a game created by Maxis that lets us all take a break from the real world, sit back and relax, while watching your Sims run around inside a box.

	OK lets stop arguing here This is the rating (of the Sims 3) in different countries: UK: the game is 12+ (and may other countries) quote Starz It's(the game) is rated 12+ here in the UK, but a lot of kids who are younger buy it. . 	The rating doesn't really matter that much. The game has ratings suited to the features it has. Sure it would change if things were added in but it's not. There's no need to argue about the rating because lets face it, all of the stuff that would raise the rating is never going to be in the game. ------------------- Help revive The Sims 3 forum here!

But it's not COMPLETLY impossiable because it is possible to have; ei. pets but you need the Sims 2 Pets expantion pack to be able to have pets. (by the way: how did we get onto this because of the game not being realistic enough??? )

It doesn't mean you can't go on holiday with Bon Voyage because the temperature is the same everywhere. It makes the game more realistic but not impossible. 	I didn't say ANYTHING about it being impossible to go on holiday without the seasons expantion pack. Of course you can go on holiday, it's just the same everywhere you go like you said. Now lets drop the subject about exspantion packs and talk about time: If the game were truley realistic it would take a real nine months for a baby to be born and it would take your entire life to watch a baby grow up into an elder, retire and die. It's why we buy these sort of games; to get away from real life.

	I didn't say you could only play one family. How about we talk about food? (yummy!) There are zillions of different types of foods out there but the sims 3 only let you have a small section of dishs to make. Now I'm not saying I want EVERY SINGLE FOOD THERE IS IN THE WORLD because that's just way too impossible!! I'm saying something like having a "food simulator" so you can custermise your own foods (if your sim has top cooking skill that is) and the ingrediants as well. Now who's going to vote "good" or "bad" on that??

	I suppose the game is lacking in food. I also like the idea of the food simulator, but I think that would be pretty hard to develop. Nice to see someone is making an effort........ Cue argument -------------------
