I get the "ultra" glitch and the "music doesn't play" glitch (but the guitar still does?), but the music plays just fine for me no matter what in Riverview... Kinda' odd. A recent glitch has occurred for me while I was having a birthday party for my sim and had pizza on the table. About three sims got to the pizza, including my own, and then it disappeared. I didn't think anything of this, seeing as my sim was insane and a klepto, but then the sim became disgusted at the food when there was none. The pizza box is gone, the table is marked as "in use", and I can't delete it with moveObjects. This seemed to happen randomly, so it's probably rare. Other than these few glitches (none of which are major, my setup is pretty awesome) I have to say the game is pretty good. AJ Fox -------------------

	if you are having tree rendering and hair problems in the sims 3 on ATI cards its because of edge smoothing, otherwise known as anti-aliasing. shut it all off!!! ATI has a beautiful technology in there 4000 series that has hardware dedicated 8x anti-aliasing so you can have it without frame rate drop, but it was over looked by the maxis and sims team. the game is completely Nvida optimized and the edge smoothing feature dose not work on the newer and some older ATI cards. go to catalyst and check use application settings in the anti-aliasing menu under 3D. then turn edge smoothing off int the sims, that should fix any issue with the 4000 series and some 2000 cards possibly 3000 series cards as well.

	workaround for slow time when fast forwarding... if you zoom into the ground will fast forwarding you will see the time pick up significantly

	I agree with most of what was said in this thread, I'm running an ATI Radeon 4870 and was experiencing model stretching. I tried the solution offered by Terrakki_: quote Ok, I have awesome new for the people suffering from this "texture streching". I was browsing the official forums for the cure, and stumbled on this post which said clicking factory default button in Catalyst Control Centre fixes it. So I just tested it, and for my own suprise it actually worked. Now I only have to check if putting back my old settings bleeps it up again. But if it does, at least we know what was wrong. And it worked, going to Catalyst Control Centre > Preferences > Restore Factory Defaults fixed the problem completely for me. I hope that helps anyone else with this insanely frustrating issue. Now it's just a matter of checking which settings I can re-enable before the game dies again. Yay =)

	I have never had the fast forward glitch, although I have had the music stops playing glitch, although this doesn't bother me much. I have had a glitch that no one has mentioned, though. I had a husband, wife and baby. The husband sat down with the baby one day to teach him to talk (instructed by me). Once the bar had filled to the top and the process completed, unlike normal the man didn't in stand up and continue his daily routines. The animation that the baby does when it's learning to talk carried on running and the system was running in a loop. After a couple of sim days, the social worker came because the baby's needs were too low. This broke the loop and the dad was able to get up, but I lost the baby in the process. I haven't experienced this glitch since. Has anyone else had this glitch? -------------------

	Just a quick fix for families who seem to vanish but your still able to do things with them. All you have to do is create a copy of the family. Move the new founded copy into another house. Erase the glitched family from you old house. and the move the new copy family into the old house. sorry for my bad english

	Same happened to me, but my toddler was watching the baby channel! It went like thin and stretched high and was laughing, I freaked out when I first saw it. Did you use the testingcheats cheat? I used that, and I thought that was why.

	I have a issue with it. There are flashes of random colors across the screen. Like a certain objects color comes up big on my screen in lines or triangles. could this be a glitch or a computer issue

The husband tried to potty train the kid and they froze after the bar was full. In the Sims 3 I had a divorced mother and four kids. the mother tried to teach the toddler how to talk and the same thing happened. Do you know if there is anyway to fix this? 	I have this roof glitch where the roof never appears and just some grey walls. Makes all my houses look bleeped up. Animegurl//: I've had that, probably one of the funnier ones out of the bunch.
