Forum Feedback and Suggestions - Page 15

I contacted a few of the old forum regulars about perhaps reviving this forum and I also PMed Beta to ask if he's still interested. If the same people keep showing up and posting, new members are more likely to stick around because the forum remains active and interesting. What this forum really needs is more discussions rather than just game threads that don't allow interaction between members.

It's always so difficult to revive a forum like this because to do so, you need a community but to gain a community you need more discussions and perhaps and off-topic GD but to get an off-topic GD you need a permanent moderator and to get one of those, you need a higher PPD. It's an endless cycle.

Anyway, I'm going to try my best to revive the forum and I'll try and remain consistent and hopefully, more members will stick around.

Ahhh, I'm all up for a challenge, Chiken. ;D Cheers for helping out, you're a little star really. I can't wait to have this up and running like it used to be.

I bumped the on-topic discussion because it'll establish community similarly to an off-topic GD but it won't fill our forum full of irrelevant spam. Hopefully if we get members talking between themselves, we can get people coming back.

I'd say we officially revived this forum now so I'm going to be childish now and say I told you all we could do it. Nicely done Neon Rainbow, TheBeardedMan, Smell The Chiken, Adrienne and the rest of you regulars. <3 I'm so happy we have a community in this forum again.

Just as a heads up, I'm currently working on a forum index for the forum which will contain a list of some of the more popular threads such as the discussions and the extremely useful help threads as well as some of the game threads. If you have any suggestions or comments on this feel free to say so either here or through PM.

I'm also unstickying the information thread from the front page because the game has been long since released and it's now somewhat irrelevant. Is anybody interested in the idea of there being a new thread created with summaries of the game and the expansion packs which can then be added to the index for easy access. It does sounds like something somebody could easily just just the site wikis for but I'm considering it might be better to have a thread with all of the information in one place. Any feedback on that idea?

I've also made the off-topic general discussion but you'll have probably noticed that by now.

Ahhh Adrienne, I had actually already considered and decided that but I had completely forgotten to mention it. I'm such a dope. You're definitely right though. It would be beneficial if it were a sticky. I'll work on it.
