Or do you mean that your sim could go to boarding schools which the parents would have to pay for. But surely that's like University for Sims 2?

Boarding school would add some real realism. Tax would be good realism wise but it'd make the game too complicated for my liking! ^^;

This would be a great addition to the game. So at the start of the game, you go to a public school, but you can change schools over the phone and then they'll be more bills depending on the school you've chosen. ^^;

We could only hope schools wouldn't be too much though. If they cost too much, our Sim's would go broke.

So maybe politicians in TS3 should be able to decide over ordnances like Parking Fines, Legalized Gambling, Taxes, Benifits, School Grants etc. However the game would not need things like public smoking ban as those features wouldn't be allowed.

I always thought that was a public school?

A public school is open to the public that requires no charge, so that is why it is called a public school, however these schools have the right to refuse children and it is rare that they accept a child unless the parents have given the headmaster a gift or money.
