Kid interactions

In TS2, the teenager stage was when you got to do most things like cook for yourself, fall in love and etc.
Dont you think that sims in the child stage should be able to have like a little girldfriend or something and that they should be able to cook some things for themselves like noodle soup. Also I think that the whole family should be able to go down to the park and play a family game of cricket, soccer etc (I have already seen a family picnic but thats not enough)Basically, I would like to see more in the child stage, you?

I don't see a problem with the restrictions in the past series to be honest. You don't actually see kids cooking their own food. But I guess kids have changed since my years. lol. I used to get my food directly from the refrigerator and stuff myself up.

About relationships, do kids these days have girlfriends already? I'm 17 and I still haven't experienced having a relationship.

I think the kids shouldn't be able to cook because if adults can start kitchen fires, kids obviously can do worse! The Sims 3 will have more realism and in The Sims 2 the kitchen situations were pretty realistic, it'll be double that this time round.

Kids without a brain do have girlfriends, so if your sim as a trait which means he has no brain, then yes, (the child sim) with that trait should be dumb enough to have a girlfriend.

I think they should also be able to make cereal because it's not exactly hard to do either.

Also, adding on to the relationships, I think that it should be more rare for children to have a crush because children get on with both guys and girls and are just good friends most of the time.

However I doubt this feature will be put into the game because I have a feeling they would have mentioned it by now.

I think sandwiches and cereal and anything that doesn't involve the cooker would be fine.
I don't see the points in having children girlfriend and boyfriend as Diamondflame said the interactions would be hugely limited. Crushes would be quite good though. But suddenly you see the kids more mature than the last game! @__@

Flaming Sandwich's would be funny to see.

The relationships are something they have not mentioned yet, nor the new things that will come with it (interactions). Hopefully the children are left out though.

And here's my opinion on the kids relationships stuff:

on the whole relationship thing... I think that should not happen until the teenager years, because I never had a girlfriend when I was 9. My first was just earlier this year (school year), and I'm 16. Would also be odd to be walking around the neighborhood and seeing 2 children kissing. >_<

Better left til Teens.

Brownsrock, firstly, not all children are nine. xD A twelve year old is still a child yes? xD Secondly, like I said if they did do that they'd limit it to just puppy love kinda stuff like holding hands. I've seen people in nursery with girlfriends and boyfriends. @_@ I blame the world for that though.

xD It doesn't really matter anyway, I'm fairly sure that they won't include it.
