Brand based Xpansions

We have IKEA and H&M Fashion stuff packs so what else could we have?

The Worlds top Supermarkets like Walmart?

I think they sould do things for the older generation aswell like PLAYBOY.

re: Brand based Xpansions

Considering the game is targeted at young kids, as well as an older audience, I doubt there would be a Playboy 'stuff pack'. That said, I'm sure you'll be able to download custom playboy content from somewhere.

I personally don't want them to release any 'stuff packs' because I think they are just a pointless, money-grabbing scheme. I would rather they spent their time improving the quality of the actual expansion packs.

I agree.

I think they will aim for glasses...It should also be nice to see some perfumes...and lastly for food..(maybe)

re: Brand based Xpansions

The problem with food is that people have mentioned that with the direction of reality TS3 seems to be taking, we might have to actually cook/prepare/mix the food ourselves.

I wouldn't mind that if the method was okay, but I can see it getting tedious. :]

In that case there should be an option to "turn it on" and "turn it off"...That way both cooking fanatics (like me) and I-hate-cooking people will enjoy the game

With the focus on being "bringing the game back to the sims" I can't imagine for the life of me that they would add something as tedious as that.

Maybe for a 3rd party mod?

But it's all things you do in your live. This game is supposed to look as realistic as possible!

Not really... They are taking out the whole needs thing for the most part. It would have been more realistic to leave it in, but it's not fun, so they're taking it out. They want to make the game as fun as possible. This is really just a rephrasing of what I said before, but I don't think you got what I was saying.

If it's a simulation game, it should be as close as possible to the reality..no?

No it shouldn't... Simulation doesn't mean it follows exactly real life, it means it emulates it in some form which is fun. Hell you don't even see your sims working, in real life do you go to work and pass out for 8 hours?

Here's neoseeker's list of life simulators. How many really resemble people's lives? http://www.neoseeker.com/Games/PC/Simulation/Life/

As well, if it was supposed to resemble real life, what's with all the weird crap in Sims 2, like plantsims...?
