Is it illegal to make money off Garageband?

I'm not actually planning a music career here, but if you made music in Garageband using the Software Instruments would it be illegal? I'm not referring to the samples/loops, but if you use the instruments to make your own original music - say, to create background music for a game - would it be illegal if you then made money off that game?

Not 100% on how garageband functions but for samples, instrument packs and etc you have to evaluate if you're permitted to use them for commercial use. Even if you contact them later or try to run it out without contacting them you're violating the user agreement and in those cases if they want to press on it they usually can take a much much larger portion as you've broken contract.

Always scan the EULA / TOS / etc beforehand to be sure you're in the clear, essentially the situation is that someone else created the content and you're manipulating it under a set series of conditions which may include non-commercial use.

If you can't find anything at all then you should be in the clear, as far as the app goes, very few suites ever ask credit or royalties for content developed on them. If anything major artists use the brand to help get discounts and capital for their next work.

Any original content made by you shouldnt be illegal as you are making and advertising what steams from your talent, i am not sure if you have to give credit to apple for your creation

keep in mind as long as the content you produce is 100% original, and i mean you making it from scratch there is in theory nothing illegal, however keep in mind law and reality are not always have kept in tune with each other
