This is the crew Blood Brawlers of Darkness. We are a group that enjoys playing Brawl competitively, planning to become elite. We shall always persevere and stand side by side with each other, regardless of what challenges we face. Each month we have a tournament to keep our skills sharp and recognize the best of the best. We also have a Ranking System in which our members fight to prove who truly deserves the #1 Rank. This clan has a rich historical background stemming from the earliest days of the Brawl Crews. This crew began when the crews Brawlers of Darkness and Blood Brawlers joined together to avoid dying out from a lack of activity. These crews, as well as the original crew Gods of the Green Hill Sword Crew will never be forgotten.

We will never let the legacy of blood and darkness die!

● How to Join●

We play with competitive rules which can be found here. To join this crew you must post in the thread or PM a leader or co-leader, then you must brawl at least two Crew Testers to see if you can join the ranks. If you are going to join, please be active, if you are going to be inactive for a long time, notify a leader or co-leader beforehand so you are not kicked out. When you join you must fill out the following information:

When you join and face the Crew Testers, the rules will be 3 stocks, 8 minutes, no items, and neutral stages.

You must be approved by at least 2 Crew Testers to be accepted into the crew. If a decision cannot be reached, a fourth member will be used to test you, most likely a leader or co-leader, whose decision will determine your acceptance into the crew.

If you are waiting to be tested, or the crew is full, then you go on the "On Hold List." You can post in the crew thread as well as in ally threads, but you are not a member yet.

● Ranking System ●

Credit to Squall for this unique ranking system from the short-lived crew, Darkraga Saga. Members partake in gaining levels by receiving EXP just as you would in any Final Fantasy or Pokemon game. This shows how much you brawl in the crew and where you stand with other members.

How To Gain EXP

In order to gain EXP, challenge anyone in the crew to 1-5 matches (the challenger decides), 3 stocks, no items, and play on either neutrals or counter-pick stages. You can challenge people as many times as you want, but you can't challenge the same person more then once a day. You can only do EXP sets with somebody twice a week. A week starts on Sunday and ends on Saturday. You can only gain EXP from people in the crew, allies do not count. You will also be able to gain EXP in events hosted by Blood Brawlers of Darkness such as Tournaments, Crew Wars, and Special Events.

Winning with 1 Stock Left = 200EXP earned.
Winning with 2 Stocks Left = 400EXP earned.
Winning with 3 Stocks Left = 1600EXP earned.

Every 1600 EXP you receive you shall level up. So keep adding up your points! Be sure to PM or post how many EXP you've gained when you finish challenging someone. If there is a 10 level difference between the two players, then the EXP gained is different.

Double EXP Weekend

Similar to Halo 3, EXP brawls that are made from Saturday 12:00 AM - Sunday 11:59 PM are worth double EXP which opens up an opportunity to gain more EXP and level up quicker. Events are affected by this as well. You can only do 3 sets of EXP matches per weekend.

Negative EXP

The only time this will happen is if you ESCAPE from a battle, meaning you quit from a match early before it is completed. If you do such a thing for whatever reason, you will lose 100EXP, on the spot. So the opponent has the right to let the leaders or co-leaders know if the escapee hasn't told anyone yet. Also if we warn you more than 3 times to behave, you suffer loss from EXP. From that you will lose 500EXP on the spot. So for your sake, don't quit early.

the following information is about the Blood Brawlers of Darkness crew run by Me(ryan1234).

No, one will be able to take over the crew, which means destroying it, take over and/or leading it unless everyone including me agrees on it. Also no one can destroy the crew beside me(ryan1234). I almost forgot no pictures of me saying it can be used has proof since it is possilbe to fake messages in pm's and posts by using paint.(I have done it before.) So the only way to proof that I said I don't want to be leader or to change the leadership to someone else is to link to the post of where I said it and EVERYONE in the crew must see it.

You may rarely see me on Wifi, but I mean rarely, so don't get your hopes up. It was really great knowing all of you, and maybe someday the clouds hanging over me will clear up so I can see the sun again. You all have made me feel safe and secure on the internet, no matter how many noobs, creeps, and scammers there are, you made me feel I was among good company. Despite not seeing you eye to eye, I knew you were all here for me.

This crew...its time for it to go peacefully...it was my first crew...I joined Blood Brawlers on December 17, 2008 and it shaped me to what i am today...I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for Slicer and my friend Trevor for showing me BB in the first place...i remember my days of being that new guy that posted more than anyone else back in Blood Brawlers and not to mention being allies with Brawlers of Darkness...i met a lot of people while i was here...like Ragnell Swinger which was one that stuck out in my mind the most...and wherever he is right now in life i wish him the best of luck...ryan you may be a lazy bum sometimes but if it wasn't for you this crew wouldn't be where it is today...even when i left BB you managed to make the decision that would ultimately lead to the merge of Blood Brawlers and Brawlers of Darkness that I was not there for and was totally against at first.....and now that i know i made a huge impact on this crew by leaving it and moving on, i can see its condition...its time for it to go peacefully while we still have our dignity...I'll never forget this crew...I met a lot of great people, had many good, memorable moments...participated in tourneys and wars and such that were also fun...leading this crew was fun and enjoyable while it lasted...but now its time for us to go...Good bye Blood Brawlers of Darkness, good bye Blood Brawlers, good bye Brawlers of Darkness....Its been a great run

You may rarely see me on Wifi, but I mean rarely, so don't get your hopes up. It was really great knowing all of you, and maybe someday the clouds hanging over me will clear up so I can see the sun again. You all have made me feel safe and secure on the internet, no matter how many noobs, creeps, and scammers there are, you made me feel I was among good company. Despite not seeing you eye to eye, I knew you were all here for me.

● Crew History●

To begin, this crew started out in two separate crews. The first was Gods of Brawl, created by ryan1234 and Bradley123456789 on March 9, 2008. This crew was made as a branch of the Pokemon Diamond clan Gods of Pokemon which was created on August 4, 2007. The second was Green Hill Sword, created by bk man on March 13, 2008. Gods of Brawl reached thread 3 when they decided to merge with Green Hill Swords to create Gods of Green Hill Sword on March 23, 2008. On thread 12, due to leadership taking place at the time, sabatan django, along with a few others, decided to leave Gods of Green Hill Sword to create their own crew, Brawlers of Darkness on April 30, 2008. Shortly after there creation, they merged with a dying crew known as Sakurai's Shadow Fighters lead by dashelle88 on May 3, 2008. They then changed their name to Shadow Brawlers of Darkness, but eventually they split apart and went back to Brawlers of Darkness. Gods of Green Hill Sword were rivals with Brawlers of Darkness for the remainder of their time alive. The Gods of Green Hill Sword made it to thread 14 when they decided to move the crew to the Pokemon Diamond Clans on July 19, 2008 where they shortly died afterward. Months passed and Brawlers of Darkness continued to prosper. Then, ryan1234 paired up with Fu, one of one of the loyal members of GOGH, to create Blood Brawlers on August 10, 2008. Eventually, Brawlers of Darkness and Blood Brawlers decided to settle their differences and became allies. Over time, Blood Brawlers and Brawlers of Darkness became inactive. The Blood Brawlers suffered from loss of active members, and its overall activity was destroyed when their two co-leaders decided to leave and create another crew. The Brawlers of Darkness went through a few mishaps with leaders and members including a dispute that involved their Crew Website that also caused some members to leave. Brawlers of Darkness, at thread 85, and Blood Brawlers, at thread 51, decided there was only one thing to do. It was time for the two crews to merge. Artsy, the leader of Brawlers of Darkness at the time, and ryan1234, the leader of Blood Brawlers at the time, arranged the merge. After everything that had happened, the birth of Blood Brawlers of Darkness began on April 19, 2009. Meanwhile, Gods of Pokemon, which was lead by ryan1234 who also lead the Blood Brawlers of Darkness, was closed due to constant breaking of the rules. Thread 87 was the last recorded thread of Gods of Pokemon because the more recent threads of Gods of Pokemon were deleted by a moderator, and thread 87 was the most recent one still existent. A few months later, ryan1234 and JeSSe_ThE_KinG decided to create a Pokemon Diamond branch for Blood Brawlers of Darkness since Gods of Pokemon was closed down. It was created on December 20. 2009 as they decided to name it, Blood Battlers of Darkness. We pledge not to suffer the same fate as Gods of Pokemon, we will be more disciplined, and set a fair better example. Sadly on February 17, 2010, a few months after the creation of this branch, Blood Brawlers of Darkness the Super Smash Bros. Brawl main branch at thread 65 was officially closed down. It suffered from severe member lost and dramatically lost its activity along with its former glory. After the death of the main branch, Blood Battlers of Darkness Pokemon Diamond branch at thread 15 officially became the main branch. Then one day ryan1234 came back from the shadows and teamed up with AnimalXing to revive the Blood Brawlers of Darkness. It is time of a new dawn to the brawl forums and it is time to bring the two branch crews together run by Jesse and AnimalXing. It is time to regain our former glory. We shall never give up, no matter how much you put us down. We are the Blood Brawlers of Darkness.
