sonic is three times as good as lucas. Just look at the tier list. There are many reasons for this. Sonic has good coverage, pretty good range and has an advantage on lucas, matchup-wise, IMO.

also Lucas's recovery is not that good...unless you're fightadmanteevee in which case Lucas is S tier xD

if you learn all his crazy tricksies...he can be all over the place lol. but even with that he's pretty terrible.
