Someone here just started hosting monthly tourneys recently, and they have been going very well. I got 7th out of 19 which isn't so hot, but I'll get better.
All of the ranked players were out at WGF so I might not be getting better than 7th anytime soon, but I'll try :P. I lost to a Wolf and then a Fox. It was fun stuff.

I teamed with someone looking for a partner at the last second. He played all kinds of characters, but we agreed that his Wolf was the best for the situations.
The teams were round robin so I'm glad I got to play everyone. We got tied for 3rd out of only 6. I feel bad, because I blame myself for our last loss.
I footstooled my partner between the rock platforms on Delfino, and he got spiked by a Ness lol.

We had a little $1 single elimination bracket too, but I had to leave that early.

I can see it happening. I'll be sure to look for some brawls here before it's all closed down though.
