So why did you people choose your mains?

In 64 I mained Yoshi because I thought he was awesome for some reason and I loved riding on him in Super Mario World, I used him in every game where he was playable and I loved Yoshi Story. After a while I grew disgusted that it was possible for Yoshi to eat the dolphins that helped you in Super Mario World. After that I mained Mario because I liked him too and all of the games I bought as a kid were Mario games. I also liked camping from high elevations with Mario's fireballs, lol.

In Melee I used Mario again, then picked up Peach because...idk...I just thought being the polite princess from Mario was awesome.

In Brawl it was the same, but me and my brother were joking around and I told him he could only go to an all guy's school if he wore a Donkey Kong tie as the mandatory tie they were supposed to wear. After that I just grew to think that Donkey Kong was awesome. It didn't hurt that landing super strong moves and whoring super armor made me happy in the happy in the pants.
