Lol yeah Aqua I have some things to teach you ..playing someone in dittos gives you an idea of where they are strong and weak. We need to develop your mindgames and get you to use your head otherwise someone like me who barely knows the character he was playing but is good at setting traps can just beat you.

I know... I have to start thinking instead of just rushing in. I was trying to do that but it's not like it comes naturally or anything. Eh I guess it's like improvising on the piano. It comes naturally after a lot of practice. I don't know where to start developing a mind game though.

Yeah for some its comes in much easier than others. You just have to catch yourself and keep asking yourself what to do in the fights. Notice paterns, spot openings, play defensively at the start to see where they might leave themselves open. If you notice I always play defensively until I have my opponent figured out and then I start devising plans and traps along the way. My mind works very fast in intense matches. I am always asking myself questions and looking at each move they do and why they might do it. You have to turn on your brain. The first step to developing mindgames is accessing the ability to analyze. You cannot make a trap unless you know how to lure your opponent into it. To do that you need to find their patterns in their fighting style. Like once you do that then you can develop ideas of how that can be punished. Once you can do that the last step is making a plan so that the scenario in which your opponent in open happens more. Notice how I like to lure you in and then counterattack with strings of Fairs. Thats because I analyzed you. You like to try to finish things early and therefore get overly aggresive and rush. You need to take it slower and not let it get to you when your opponent is ahead of you of if you're only able to get weak hits. Those weak hits add up. Ness is not a power character. Patience is the key to any match. Playing the match at your opponent's pace is a setup for failure. Remember that.

No problem come back and see me when you want to work on your mindgames. I'm always up for helping one of my crewmates. Just try using my advice against other people and see how it works. Just remember to tell yourself periodically "Take it slow"

As far as thinking yeah he requiring a lot. In terms of thinking ahead and planning...oh GOD yes. I sandbag in most friendly matches with him because of how much thought it actually takes to be a non generic great Snake. Its hard work but so much fun. I love Snake though he is the character for me. Oh man I have fighting Olimar so much...its just an annoying matchup ..for both sides really. And yeah we can play soon. I would like to get my flow back with Snake before I play any serious matches with him though. I'm not at 100% yet but we shall play soon Imlooking forward to them.
