Welcome everyone,

This forum is dedicated to the organization and facilitation of crews to be used in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. There are a few guidelines to adhere to, so that all of us can keep this
forum running in a concise and organized manner. This forum will operate in accordance with Neoseeker's Rules of Conduct, Etiquette And Acceptable Behaviour, as well as our parent forum's rules and guidelines.

Intent of Crew Threads
Crews exist to create a fun, competitive group atmosphere within the Super Smash Bros. Brawl community. The threads you create here will be for recruiting crew members, organising crew activities and arranging competitions against other crews. These threads are not by any means glorified General Discussions, and are not to be used as such.
Creating a Crew
When creating a crew thread, simply append a nifty title with the word "crew" in it somewhere. Example: Crafty CoDaD's Crew. Please keep the titles pleasing to the eyes (that is, don't add unnecessary squiggles and symbols if you can help it), and within the boundaries of a "T" rated atmosphere. We would like to keep the title structuring as uniform as possible, for easy indexing and browsing.
Posting in a Crew Thread
Unless you are a member of a crew, you are not allowed to post in that crew's thread. Simple as that. This will only change if a Crew is recruiting, in which case any member not currently participating in a different crew can post their interest to join. However as a general rule, do not post in Crew threads if you are not part of the crew.
Recruiting
Your crew can recruit members any way you want, however the two easiest ways are to PM the members you want to join, or to put "Recruiting" in the title of your thread somewhere. Note that if "Recruiting" is in your thread title, any member not currently signed up to another Crew has permission to post in your thread expressing their interest to join.
Joining a Crew
Once you have been accepted into a Crew, we ask that you do not attempt to join any others. We'll have a lot of members in this forum so we can't keep tabs on all of you, this is up to you guys to police yourselves. If you find that a member of your Crew is also involved in another, please direct your concern to one of the forum moderators who will deal with the situation.

Remember: Crews are essentially your family when it comes to Smash Bros. And you can't have more than one family!

This also pertains to people who create their own Crews; Please do not make more than one.
Leading a Crew
This is perhaps the most important part of the whole process, so read carefully! If you create a crew, you are responsible for maintaining it. You should be the one updating the first post with a current list of joined members. You are responsible for leading the way in Crew battles. You are expected to be around fairly often to keep things running smoothly. Remember, the people in your Crew depend on their leader for making the Crew a fun and active place, so if you're slacking off, don't expect your members to stick around for very long. If you're in charge of a crew and can no longer commit to maintaining it, please pass the responsibility on to another member before leaving. Don't just let the Crew die.

Also keep in mind how big you want the Crew to be. Try not to recruit more members than you can handle.
Crew Battles
This is the big one. As part of a Crew, it is not uncommon to challenge other Crews to battles of honor. Crew Battles come in a variety of formats, decided upon beforehand by the Crew leaders, however they all involve playing Vs. matches of some kind and thus, Crew Battles should be held in the Neo Dojo sub-forum. How to create a Crew Battle thread is outlined here.
Crew Limit
Some people may wonder how many members they can have in their Crew. The Crew limit is 20. The reason being is we find it unfair to newer crews and even older crews if they want members yet all of the members are going to just one Crew. We want to keep it fair here.
Honorary Members
Some people like to have Honorary members in their Crews. But this will not go on. There will be no Honorary Members due to the fact that it is just a way to get around the above rule.
Alliances
An Alliance is when crews work together to take on other crews or face one another. You are allowed to post in one anothers Crew thread but remember to follow the rules that have been set. When making an Alliance it would be best to send the leader a PM and make sure that they don't already have Three Alliances or else you can't make an alliance with them.
Creating New Thread
New threads are to be created after the old thread reaches at least 30 pages. If a new thread should be created before 30 pages then new thread will be closed until the old thread reaches 30 pages.

*Note - New crew threads should only be created by members of the crew and not by their allies.
Announcements
Announcements that have been posted in the Moderator Corner can also found here.

And finally, Have Fun
This is the whole point, after all! Enjoy participating in friendly matches with your fellow Crew members, facing off against other Crews in Crew Battles, and working your way up the ranks within your own Crew! This forum exists for community building, and build communities we shall.

Enjoy the forum!

Note:Hurt and Heals in the Crew threads are not allowed.
