Welcome one and all to the Super Smash Bros. Brawl clan of Phoenix Aeterna!
Before you consider posting here, please do read what we have in store for you.

Purpose

Phoenix Aeterna's goal is to be one of the most esteemed clans
throughout Super Smash Bros Brawl. Through pure skill and love of the game, we'll vanquish foes left and right.
Through time and massive training bouts, we aim to be the best. In Neoseeker. In all other Brawl Forums. In the world!

Admission

Admission won't be like most other clans. We're going to attempt to make this exclusive.
This being said, only a select few members can be admitted into the clan. Why? A clan of small numbers is much easier to coordinate and
keep under control then a clan with hundreds of members.

The process is simple. You will fight one of the three creators
of the clan via WiFi connection. If you manage to:

1. Provide a significant challenge
2. Provide an overwhelming challenge
3. Beat one of the creators

You will be admitted into the clan. The thing is, there can only be 8 of you admitted
into the clan. This being said, it will rather challenging to get in.

Rules

Rules are simple:

No flaming: Members of the clan are to be treated equally. Once you're in, you're in.
We're not worried about tiers or positions within the clan because if you join us, you're bound to be one of the best.
If you choose to squabble, do it via WiFi matches. Don't yell profanities or anything else to other members or non-members.

No memberating: Only the creators have a say on who can get in or who gets kicked out.
If you see someone breaking one of the few rules, you tell one of us or a moderator, don't handle it yourself.

No Boasting: We're a humble clan. If you totally pwn some noob, don't brag in his face.
If you beat someone extremely awesome that's not in the clan, don't boast.
If we're winners, we're polite winners. Besides, who's gonna stick around to Brawl if all each clan member does is parade about arrogantly? XP

No Spamming: Spamming is annoying. Don't cloud our precious thread with gobbledegook.
No one wants that. If you want to talk about something other than Brawl or the clan in the thread, don't do it here. That's what PMs are for.

Matches

Basic Matches: We'd like to know who versus who. Honestly, you don't have to say, but it'd be nice to see how our members are doing.
XD If you have proof of the match, through video or otherwise, provide a link to youtube that has your name Brawling with other people.
We'll keep a tally of your wins or losses... maybe.

Challenging Other Clans: We'll do so officially when the time comes. It'll be fun. I promise. ^_~

Tournaments: We'll do our best to hold Tournaments amongst the clan members for
those members that absolutely have to know where they stand in the clan. It might provide some evidence towards needing more training. XP

Character Usage: We don't care if you have an "official" character.
Just be good at whom you use, and have fun most importantly.

Brawl Names: You can create your own Brawl names, so long as they are appropriate. Boobs might fly, but we're trying to be humble, not laughingstocks.

Questions/Applying for positions

If you wish to apply, simply put your name and your Wii Friend code and the times you're available, and we'll schedule your match.
It might take a while, both of us are students, but we'll get to you. Be patient.

Announcements

2/29/08: We're now scheduling admission matches to be held soon after the release date. If you wish to join, either post your information here in the thread or PM me. Remember, it merely takes your name, WFC, and time that you are available, and we'll work out the match.

3/03/08: Once we reach 8 members, I've decided we're going to have a tournament to see where our own members stand. Why? With the data from the inner clan tournament, I'd like to try and organize a tournament with members from other clans representing them. AKA, an early way to find out who's the best. This being said, we need more people! Join join join!

Update

As of March 1st, we have 3 contenders for spots in the clan. All of these contenders PMed to join and have admission matches setup. Their names shall not be released until after the decision is made.

If you wish to make an appointment for an admission match, please either post it in this thread or PM personally. Theoretically, there could be only 5 spots left. Why not give it a try?
