Does anyone know of a possible Gears 2 PC port? I mean they ported the first one (yes i own a PS3 and bought it for PC) and that absolutely kicked ass. Is it possible for a PS3 fanboy to be a gears fan lol?

the fact that they put bonus content on gears pc pissed me off because my pc sucks and the content wont be ported back to gears 360

Yeh sucks how it takes a year or two to port on PC (I'm still waiting for Halo 3 goddamit). Mass Effect had a quick PC port of around 6 months after release.

Nope, according to Cliffy B, they were spending all their time on Gears 2, and so never have and never will port it to 360.

I don't personally think its that big a deal though. Yes, PC players got a little extra content, but they had to wait a year longer. Plus, it just means we get Gears 2 more quickly. It's all good.

Meh, i feel a little guilty as though im playing one of your exclusives without your console whereas MGS4, God of war will never make a 360 or PC port

Crackdown is a prime example of a 360 exclusive. No PC port although a 360 fanboy friend of mine says it's sometimes good to let go of exclusives.

Why should you feel guilty? It's Epic's decision. And I say, if it gets out Gears 2 faster, then it's fine with me.

I would think that, given time, Gears 2 will make it to PC in the Games for Windows format. The time delay between the 360 and PC release will be significant just so the game remains a 360 exclusive for a reasonable period of time.

If and when Gears 2 is ported to PC, will Xbox LIVE players be able to play people on PC? It would be fun to have a 360 vs PC match.

No, it wouldn't be fun, the 360 owners would just feel the pain of the accuracy of a mouse for sniping.

And also no, 360 owners can't play PC owners if Gears 1 was anything to go by.

You're right about the sniping thing, but I still think it would be fun to do. A friend of mine has a game which allows him to play against people on PC's, so surely it's not too far-fetched to consider that Epic might do it to GoW 2.

I think shadow run is the only one on the 360 that does that, I'm not positive, but I think UT3 can be plaved PC vs PS3.

I wouldn't mind a pc port, now that I have a pc that can play modern games.
