Gears of War 2 Forum Rules
Updated 10/03/08
Welcome to the Gears of War 2 Forum, please take the time to read the following rules before posting.
» Spamming
Spamming is making off-topic posts, which means they have no relevance to, or do not contribute to the thread topic at hand. Furthermore, I don't want to see any one word replies to posts, or posts just comprised of smileys. Please try to refrain from spamming, you've been warned.
» Flaming
Flaming is insulting another member, and I will have little tolerance for it. Please respect your fellow members' right to post, and do not degenerate to childish insults. Also under no circumstances may you bypass word filters. Excessive flaming will result in a ban.
» Double Posting
Do not post two messages in a row in the same thread. If you have something else to say in your message, please use the
edit function instead. There will be some leniency of this rule regarding reviving old threads, provided the post is relevant and adds something to the thread, not just "BUMP" (see Spamming).
» Advertising
Advertising is strictly forbidden on Neoseeker. If you create an advertisement thread, expect it to be deleted. If you wish to advertise your website, please do so through your signature, and no where else.
» Memberating
If you see a member breaking the rules, please don't try to take matters into your own hands, instead use the
report function to bring the post in question to the attention of a moderator. Feel free to PM me if you have any worries about the conduct of a member or members, but please don't try to tell me how to do my job.
» Bypassing
If you've been banned, don't try to get around this by creating or using a different account. I will know this is happening, and it will just result in an extension of your ban or possibly worse.
» Game Threads
I have no real issues with most Game Threads, but I would like you to PM me for confirmation prior to their creation. Failure to do so will result in the closure and deletion of your thread.
For a more complete and thorough run down of the Neoseeker rules, please refer to the
Forumwide Rules of Conduct.
